The Dainese Full Metal 6 is the latest iteration in full-spec racing gloves by Dainese. The Full Metal D1 left little to be desired but with the Full Metal 6, Dainese somehow managed to improve upon an already amazing glove.The Full Metal 6 is more comfortable, more ergonomic and offers more protection. The patented Dainese Distortion Control is now externally on the little finger, where on the D1 it was internal. The external position allows for more freedom of movement and a more comfortable feeling on the inside. Yet, it will still limit extension of the finger to reduce injury in the event of a crash. You will also find two 2 carbon fiber protectors on the thumb for slide and impact protection. In between those sliders, Dainese have applied a piece of stretch leather for more freedom of movement. The cuff closure now features a reinforced construction, alongside another carbon fiber protector for great wrist protection. The cuff is positioned in an angle which is perfect for sports riding. This articulated shape reduces strain on the wrist and makes for a better fit.All great aspects of the Full Metal D1 remain: constructed from goatskin leather and held together by aramid fiber stitching. The large carbon fiber and titanium protector on the knuckles offers the best protection available and PU and thermoplast inserts on the palm and on the side of the little finger further enhance impact protection.
