Knox aimed to make this new Handroid pod MK IV exciting and accessible to urban riders as well as sports riders. The result is a far sleeker and modern short cuff motorcycle glove, The exoskeleton spines now have a much lower profile, a softer feel and are more aero dynamic than before, but most importantly: it is just as effective. Never change a winning team right? And why would they, the Handroid pod MK IV is constructed out of the same high quality materials as it successful predecessor. A combination of drum dyed cow leather and sustainable Kangaro leather (both 0.8mm thick) ensures lightweight, super strength and supple hand feel of the glove. All high points have been replaced by smooth slick mouldings made in strong but soft TPU, with a metacarpal protector covering the back of the hand which houses a gel lining for impact absorption. The new SPS Impact is the latest development of the Knox patented Scaphoid protection system and has the added benefit of MICRO-LOCK impact protection under the slider. And lastly, a new sleeker Boa wrist closure system that allows precision adjustment around the whole cuff. Overall, the fit and comfort have been significantly improved making this the a very comfortable and capable glove.
