Alpinstars overhauled the look of their Andes jackets, making it much more styled towards an adventure look. Constructed with Alpinestars’s DRYSTAR® fabric combined with a removable thermal liner, this jacket gives you the ability to stay dry and warm whatever the weather tows at you. A set of ventilation zippers on the front and back keep the jacket cool in the summer making it a truly multi-season jacket. The Andes has a comfortable touring design, with a waist belt providing a highly customizable fit. The jackets is kept nice and flexible where you would want it, while providing the necessary protection on the shoulders and elbows, with the possibility to upgrade using the optional Nucleon chest and back protectors from Alpinestars. All in all this is a capable entry level adventure jacket and the Andes V2 really is a solid choice.
